Render

Tax season is in full swing. Time once again to render to Caesar what is Caesars’ and unto God what is His. And we are His.

St. Broadwell in his Cadillac Dream

I think I have been a thinker my whole life. Occasionally a dreamer when the thinker decides to rest. It's Coming Around

After a long divide, I will begin blogging again. I spent way more time than i should updating the sidebar sections, but maybe it might help to explain the posting to list what I'm reading and listening. I have begun to read Flags of our Fathers. My grandfather read it and pointed out his ship in the pictures contained in the book during our visit last weekend in North Carolina. I think I could listen to his stories about the war all day.

Kingdom Come

What is the Kingdom? Is it here and now? Is any of it tangible? Unquestionably it is beautiful and good for it is His. Any thoughts out there?

And I'm back to the blogging

Franklin Graham was featured in Time magazine in which he was asked the question: What would Jesus say about AIDS today? His response was this:

"In his day, there was leprosy, which was incurable. And Jesus healed lepers. He didn't turn them away. That would be the same reaction today. But Jesus did tell people he healed, "Go and sin no more." And I think that to a person with HIV/AIDS, he would tell them, "Go and sin no more."
